Inteligen Advanced Brain Formula

About Inteligen Brain Formula

Inteligen is a natural supplement launched at the beginning of 2016 that claims to enhance the  memory, increase the energy, and boost your intelligence and focus. Inteligen claims to use an advanced brain formula of 100% natural ingredients and essential nutrients to increase speed and brain function in healthy adults.

It promises to give the brain a real workout through a combination of nutrients, amino acids and vitamin B6. Just about the average promise of any brain booster.
When the going gets tough, your memory, focus and energy might get going.

According to the company, Inteligen’s ingredients work to help “generate electrical impulses, care for strong brain cells, and maintain regular levels of acetylcholine.” All you have to do is take one capsule of Inteligen on a regular basis, which is why over 14 million capsules have been sold to date.

Is there any truth to this? Does the company provide any proof to back up these hefty claims? Or, is this just another nutritional supplements scam? We did some digging and here’s what we learned.

What are these Nootropic Supplements For?

Our brains decrease in volume at a 5 percent rate every 10 years after 40. Cognitive decline onset happens at as early as 30 and the most affected brain function is memory.

Luckily, modern science has designed a few helpers when it comes to declining cognitive abilities due to aging in the form of nootropics. Nootropics, also known as smart pills or brain boosters, are substances in the form of drugs or supplements that improve the functionality of the brain, enhance memory, concentration, energy and mood.

Nootropics improve brain function and performance in day-to-day activities, whether it is at school, at your job, sports or simply remembering where you left your keys or to buy milk. They help us think faster, remember facts and faces, make associations, have more energy, be more active, do more things and do them faster and better.

Forget about losing your keys or not being able to stay on the task. Well, that is if you can, because health supplements not only make you work faster and more efficiently, but also improve your memory so you won’t forget a single thing. Learning new tricks will be so much easier.

We live in a fast-paced competitive world, so when we are told even top CEOs, executive leaders and professional athletes use health supplements to give them that extra edge, why wouldn’t you?

What Was Inteligen Intended For?

Inteligen can help maintain normal levels of acetylcholine, also known as the learning neurotransmitter due to its role in memorizing facts. Acetylcholine is a neurotransmitter that facilitates intercellular communication. As we age, the levels of acetylcholine decline and this leads to memory loss. Inteligen will help you retain information for longer periods and retrieve it quickly when needed.

The supplement promises to reduce mental fatigue. When your brain feels energized, it is more alert, more willing to engage in various tasks and more creative when it comes to carrying them out. An alert mind, clear of brain fog, is less prone to depression.

The longer this state lasts, the longer it is to snap out of it and depression can set in. It is widely recognized that depressed people are also more likely to suffer from a variety of health conditions, from heart problems to obesity. When you are in a good mood, you are more efficient and productive.

You become more active, which leads to better circulation, which in turn means less inflammation in the body so less pain. The benefits of brain boosters to your life are far-reaching, mainly when you feel drained, you aren’t in the mood to be active or cheerful.

Your productivity levels will peak. You will be able to process more information and at a faster rate. Multi-tasking will no longer seem challenging, you’ll be able to focus on the task at hand without  being distracted.

The supplement promises even to make you smarter. No brain booster can lift your IQ though, but rather enhance your productivity and sharpness and make you feel more in control over your cognitive abilities.

The manufacturers try to get you to join the club by sharing that more than 14 million capsules have been sold. This means that those customers are already smarter, more focused, more energized and in a better mood than you.

Inteligen Brain Formula Ingredients

The manufacturers claim that the brain booster contains 100 percent natural non-GMO and gluten-free ingredients. Unfortunately, which ingredients are found in Inteligen appears to be based largely on where you look:

  • Bacopa Monnieri: is a herb used in India for thousands of years and renowned for its ability to increase memory and concentration. It also relaxes the mind and destroys free radicals. Studies conducted by the Center for Human Psychopharmacology suggested that Bacopa improves memory and that it enhances cognitive performance.
  • Vinpocetine: is thought to increase blood flow which ensures your brain gets all the oxygen and nutrients it needs, prevents brain damage and improve. vinpocentine may help treat some aspects of Alzheimer’s disease, although existing evidence for the latter is somewhat old and of questionable quality.
  • Ginkgo Biloba: Ginkgo bilobais listed as possibly effective for a variety of brain-related conditions, including anxiety, mental function, dementia, and more. Similarly, carnitine may help improve memory in older people and treat some symptoms of Alzheimer’s.It is one of the most popular medicinal plants in the world that’s been around for more than 5,000 years. It improves memory and cognition thanks to increased blood circulation which brings much-needed oxygen and nutrients to the brain.

It helps prevent brain damage resulting from free radicals or the improper detoxification of the brain by boosting blood circulation. Ginkgo helps prevent memory loss, including in Alzheimer’s patients, and is recommended for headaches, mood swings as well as hearing and concentration problems.

However, clinical findings are split, as some studies like the one published in the journal Psychopharmacology in 2000 and the one published in the journal Human Psychopharmacology in 2001 found that ginkgo improved attention and memory. However, a 2002 report published in Psychopharmacology Bulletin reviewed a number of studies on ginkgo in healthy people and found no conclusive evidence that it improved mental abilities.

The catch is that there’s no label listed on the Inteligen website, so there’s no way to know if it contains enough to provide any of these benefits.

There is no product label on the website, which is a big red flag for a health supplement, so there’s no guarantee of the dosage of each ingredient to make sure they can yield the stated benefits or that there are no surprise ingredients. It’s most likely that a different dosage was used in the particular clinical trials than is found in the supplement.

Also, since we cannot find the full list of ingredients, we cannot be sure if the product is suitable for vegetarians since some capsules are made with gelatin, which is an animal by-product.

No scientific evidence is mentioned about the benefits the ingredients could bring which doesn’t contribute much to the overall credibility of the product. Most supplement manufacturers did their homework and carefully chose their formula and are quite proud to display the clinical evidence that makes their product stand out and differentiate itself from the numerous competitors.

The most important thing about its non-credibility is the product is not approved by Federal Food and Drugs Administration (FDA). Credibility is crucial for prescription free, available only online supplements that are not regulated by the federal Food and Drugs Administration (FDA). The FDA only intervenes where there have been too many complaints about a product.

Inteligen Advanced Brain Formula Side Effects

Of the many ingredients we’re told about, most probably won’t cause anything worse than mild digestive upset.

WebMD notes that bacopa can “increased bowel movements, stomach cramps, nausea, dry mouth, and fatigue,” while vinpocetine can “cause some side effects including stomach pain, nausea, sleep disturbances, headache, dizziness, nervousness, and flushing of the face.”

In rare instances, ginkgo can cause a forceful heartbeat and allergic skin reactions. In equally rare occurrences, carnitine can lead to a “fishy” odor of the urine, breath, and sweat.”

Each user reacts differently to supplements and it also depends if there are any existing medical conditions. Inteligen is not suitable for pregnant women. Best to consult a health practitioner before taking this product. This is even more important if you’re already taking some medication, because for example if you’re taking blood-thinning drugs such as any nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medicines (NSAIDs) like aspirin or ibuprofen, this may cause excessive bleeding.

Inteligen’s Terms & Conditions

However, in their Terms, we’re told that Inteligen contains:

InteliGEN Proprietary Blend 1,000mg: Flaxseed, Oat Bran, Papaya Leaf Extract, Black Walnut Hull, Prune Extract, Aloe Vera, L. Acidophilus, Apple Pectin.

Note: There was also a “Smart Cleanse Detox Proprietary Blend” listed in Inteligen’s Terms. Remember this, because we’ll come back around to it shortly.

Of these ingredients, we didn’t uncover any clinical evidence showing they have any effect on cognition. In fact, L. acidophilus is a probiotic intended to aid in digestion!

Availability

The product is available only online. The official website cannot be accessed at the moment which is rather suspect, because we cannot check the terms and conditions for any hidden auto ship plans or tricky return requirements.

There is also a network of affiliates which cannot seem to be able to agree regarding the ingredients of the product: some only mention three, others say five. The problem with affiliates is that they can resort to over-the-top advertising that reduces the credibility of the product and the customers’ trust in it.

When you read how this magic pill will help you use not just 10 percent of your brain, but unleash its full potential, and boost your intelligence, you become a bit skeptical. Also, if you’re quite familiar with the world of supplement manufacturers.

you might be less impressed by the same marketing strategies that create this sense of urgency to purchase their product while this excellent offer lasts and for which you’ve been carefully selected among the lucky few. These tricks are not very likely to work on you.

Dosage

It’s recommended to take 1 or 2 capsules a day with a glass of water, either in the morning and in the evening or when the mental effort is at its peak. A bottle will guarantee a month’s supply if you take two capsules a day.

Customer Reviews

As the product is sold through a network of affiliates which receive a commission from every order so most positive reviews are from affiliate websites more likely fake.

So we bring some genuine reviews from Amazon and Highya who were used the product.

1. Inteligen – misleading and dishonest? By Craig Hill

Don’t have anything to do with these creatures. I originally agreed to a sample only to have them continue to send me bottles that I hadn’t agreed to and debit my card.

The bottles arrived with no invoice or explanation or point of origin. I eventually found a contact on their website which only appears when you pretend to place an order.

I believe what they have done is fraudulent and misleading. I am looking at suing them for damages. Tell your friends.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

2. Former Inteligen customer By Tia Lalande

I started an online application and didn’t finish it because I sensed that it might be a scam. Inteligen called me (I’m thinking the site saved my information), and after a 30-minute conversation, I was sold! Seven dollars, what a deal for a FREE TRIAL with no obligation. Was I ever deceived!

They show up as “Herb-Wellness” on your credit card statement. They hit mine three times; $109.81 first time, the second time for $109.81 twice, and another $6.79 (initially). When I called customer support, I was told I would get a 25% discount! LMAO. I got some guy who argued with me that they never took the money and that they only took the $6.

My credit card company told me to try to resolve it with them first, but I had no luck. I guess I have to find out what my next step is. I may even need to cancel before they take MORE! Don’t use your credit card, they will scam you!

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

3. I found out about Inteligen from my Skype account, which appeared as if it came from my niece.  By Rachel Wela,

I ordered the Inteligen, thinking I could have a free trial bottle, but found out that this is not possible without ordering, therefore, I did order. I am open minded and will try something and see how it performs. When I got the capsules, there were only 15 capsules in the bottles. I expected 30 per bottle. I decided to let that go and do the trial anyway.

I suffer from ME and RA and was desperate to have a relief from feeling tired and not really functioning as well as I should mentally.

In about a month I was sent a detox agent, which I was supposed to have ordered.

Smart Cleanse Detox order details:

The total Charge (with free shipping) was $69.85. Fortunately, I was able to call the credit card company and ask them not to pay and never to pay any future claims from the company. This was done successfully as I was quick to report them. I am still taking the capsules but have not finished 30 yet. I want to give them time to take effect. So far I can say that I feel much clearer mentally and have been able to do a lot more than I have done in the last two years that I have been unwell.

I don’t intend to order more than the ones I already have for my personal trial, which works out to 75 capsules. In the future, I am aiming to take Lecithin, offered by a different company, to help me with brain function and with other systems.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Final Verdict About Inteligen

After all the customer reviews we can totally say that Inteligen is a scam. as it also charges customers whithout their knowledge. And they were not provide refunds to the people.

After hundreds of hours of research, we’ve learned to identify certain red flags that could indicate your money might be better spent elsewhere. This includes not featuring a product label or a complete list of ingredients (or several lists of ingredients, as with Inteligen), failing to support any claims with evidence, and providing next to no information about the company behind it (we had to dig through Inteligen’s Terms just to locate a phone number).

The affiliates don’t seem to bother to dig out the evidence and present it to potential customers for additional credibility.

Further, although Inteligen claims to have been featured in Maxim, People, and many other popular publications, we couldn’t locate any third-party evidence of this online.

We didn’t like that we couldn’t find the product’s label to check the full ingredients and dosage which is a big red flag for supplement manufacturers. We also didn’t like some of the over-the-top claims made by the affiliated websites like how the product is going to make you smarter or help you use 100 percent of your brain. The fake reviews and concerning negative ones also made us wonder how efficient this product is, but that just comes with the territory.

What’s all this mean for you? In the case of Inteligen, we think there are enough red flags to avoid it altogether.

Alternative of Inteligen Advanced Brain Formula

According to our findings as we found that Inteligen is a kind of scam product and dosen’t approved by FDA. So we provide you an alternative for it i.e Nootrogen. Nootrogen is the one of the best brain boosting supplement. As Nootrogen is the groundbreaking development in Nootropics stacks that requires no prescription.

The most important factor that it is our recommended product because Nootrogen is made uder FDA guidelines. also it is approved by FDA.

Through extensive clinical studies, research has identified 2 key natural compounds that when consumed together have remarkable effects on the brain and cognitive function. Dimethylaminoethanol and L-Pyroglutamic Acid.
